Invitation to the MFGO’s Eid al-Adha Celebration on August 18, 2019 (SUNDAY)

Dear sisters, brothers, and children in Islam:
As Salamu-Alaikum-wa-Rahmatullahe-wa-Barakatehu and advance Eid Mubarak to you all. With this brief note the MFGO coordination committee extends its cordial invitation to you and the family to join the upcoming MFGO gathering for the celebration of Eid al-Adha, scheduled to be held on August 18, 2019 (Sunday) starting at 1 PM at the Chapman Mills Community Building (424 Chapman Mills Drive, Ottawa, ON, K2J 0M7.
This will be a Pot-Luck event. Please bring your choice of a dish to share with your fellow brothers and sisters in a post-Eid milieu. Items related to the Eid al Adha celebration would be greatly appreciated. Also, we encourage everyone to wear attire fitting with the occasion of Eid celebration.
As part of this month’s program the topic for discussion is entitled as “Foundations of Faith”. Our own youth member Wajid Zaman will be the speaker as we encourage our youths to come forward to develop their public speaking skills. We hope we all can benefit from his speech; please join us and encourage Wajid in his bold debut as a key speaker at the MFGO monthly program.

Please note that the place can only accommodate 100 people and thus we encourage you to reserve your spot by sending a return email to firstname.lastname@example.org at the earliest possible time. We will reserve your spot on a “First Come, First Reserved” basis.
